With the dollar's recent declines, any thoughts on how far and how long this downward trend will continue? What are the trends telling us?

Interestingly enough, the currency market does not seem as affected as the world's equity markets, at least not yet.   Currency implied volatilities have hardly moved as compared with SPY vols that recently moved from approximately a 30 day implied volatility of 16% to 24% in a just a few days.  We will see if the FX market "catches" up, or if the equity market "calms" down in the few trading days.
