hi steve
thanks a lot for your continued help.
please i wanted to learn from you what it exactly mean by saying American option style can be exercised any business day,before expiration.
does it mean any business day ie MONDAY, TUESDAY WEDNESDAY,THURSDAY OR EVEN FRIDAY? provided is an official business day?

Hi Moshe,

European style, they cannot be exercised early, but you can close out of the position any day the market is open (provided there is still a bid).

Expiration occurs on the third Friday of the month at 12:00 Noon ET (NY time).  If you hold options in non-expiriing months, they will continue to trade.
